Experience:
Following graduation with his Doctorate in Chiropractic, he was hired by Baystate Physical Therapy/MCR in Boston, MA. For two and a half years, he integrated chiropractic care and physical therapy for his patients. He treated hundreds of patients with a focus on both chiropractic and PT alongside incredibly skilled physical therapists. Dr. Spencer focuses his practice on wellness and treating orthopedic (spine and extremity) injuries. He also does auto and work-related injuries, sports injuries and non-operative disc treatments. By working closely with the best PCPs, neurologists, orthopedic surgeons, and other healthcare specialists in Connecticut, we can provide patients with personalized care.
Treatment Philosophy:
His belief that health-span (the number of years a person lives with FULL function) should be almost more important than life-span (how long a person lives). By combining all aspects of preventative health care including nutrition, exercise, and chiropractic care with great patient education, Dr. Hackett hopes to achieve freedom of disease, injury, and stress for his patients.
Personal:
In his free time, Dr. Hackett enjoys resistance training, hiking, golfing, and cooking. He also enjoys staying up-to-date on the most current literature on both exercise and nutrition. He enjoys keeping up with his alma mater, Sacred Heart’s lacrosse team where he played for 4 years.
